I've arrived at the home of my father, here in Lafayette, IN. The details of the upcoming move are still changing rapidly, as in hourly. No problem. I'm still here to load and drive, regardless of the destination, vehicle, or timing. I introduced him to Fiendflug, and it seems he actually likes it. cool. My job here is basically to make his life easier by handling the tasks that his recent back surgery make un-advisable. no problem. We seem to be getting along better this time, which is a good thing. I'll be clearing out a closet here for sleeping in, which will be more convienent by far than the living room floor. This apartment is small, and full of stuff. That shall shortly change, but in the meantime it's not too bad.
Tonight, I plan on going out to the Darwin Room down in indianapolis, for my fix of booze and "the getting on of the groove". Gladly, that ability came back in DC, although I only danced for one song, as there was some interesting conversation that got in the way. Damn conversation! Luckily, I don't know anyone here in IN, so there should be no social impediments to the bouncing and flailing I am so looking forward to. Before that, there shall be showering and clean clothes, though. I've got about 1000 miles of dust to wash from this stack. I'm going to find a way to check my email from here, now. Can I get some suggestions as to the best web-based tool for checking a pop account? Aside from pine over an ssh session, that is. Thanks, and bye.
